Bach's music is at the heart of this new Pentaèdre recording devoted to transcriptions for wind quintet of toccatas, fugues, sonatas, partitas and chorales. To these works by Bach is added the Quintet no. 3 by American composer David Maslanka (1943-2017), inspired by Bach.
